Located in metropolitan Chicago, FlashCopier.COM (a subsidiary of Wireless Computing) has been specializing in USB flash drive duplication technologies since 2005. In fact, FlashCopier was the first computer based flash drive duplication system ever invented in US. The initial release of the FlashCopier software was back in 2005 for one of our clients who needed to regularly duplicate hundreds of Compact Flash cards. It was a success. We then published the software on the Internet as a shareware, received hundreds of download and numerous feedbacks. These invaluable user feedbacks have helped us tremendously in improving the product. We introduced the first PC based CompactFlash card duplication system (21 targets) in 2005 (a prototype of the current model FC-21). Later in 2006 we broke the 26 drive letter limitation and brought the number of targets to 28.
As flash media gained more popularities in the past few years, we further doubled the number of targets to 56. As the introduction of FC-84 together with the add-on unit FCA-63, we raised the number to 147 in later 2008. This breaks the 127 limitation of the USB chain. On the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2009, Las Vegas), our FlashCopier line was known as "the coolest product on the show".
Thanks to our R&D team and our patent pending technologies! Early in 2009, we made another major breakthrough in further expanding the capacities of our FlashCopier line. Now by linking up multiple FlashCopiers to form a FlashCopier farm, users can now duplicate more than 500 flash drives simultaneously, all from one single console. The FlashCopier software now maps every target drive to its physical port through a graphical presentation called Port Map, The Port Map makes it possible to catch 'bad' drives even before the duplication is started. This feature has been wished by many business users for years. It is a must have for any duplicators especially when dealing with low quality flash drives.
Rather than being a computer software or hardware retailer we have been positioning our company as a solution developer and provider from the very beginning. Whenever we see needs for solutions from industries that fall into our expertise we invest our resources in developing solutions to them. Flash Copier is an example that we developed for the flash media industry.
With direct suppliers and OEM manufacturers from China and Taiwan we can now implement our solutions into real products. Again, rather than selling the products to end users we reach the market place through dealers or retailers so that we can continue focusing our resources on developing and implementing more exciting solutions.
